IMPRESSIVE RECEPTION FOR "Ecotec ' 08 – Environmental Technologies"
The Business & Scientific communities were very impressed with Technoekdotiki’s initiative to establish in Greece a new International Exhibition entitled "Ecotec ' 08 – Environmental Technologies" which will cover the entire spectrum of activities whose aims are Environmental Protection & Restoration. It is characteristic that more than 120 of the most influential companies in this sector have confirmed their participation as exhibitors, and many more have expressed a very strong interest in becoming exhibitors.
This first Exhibion will be held from the 23 until 26 May 2008 at the Expo Athens Exhibition Center, (located along the Attiki Odos at exits 14 &15) and has received the endorsements of many of the most significant institutions in the Environmental Technologies sector. Already, the MINISTRY OF ENVIRONMENT PLANNING AND PUBLIC WORKS and the KAPE (Center for Renewable Energy Sources) have endorsed the Exhibition with their seal.
Concurrently, and at the same location the monthly magazine "Ecotec” published by Technoekdotiki, will organize, along with scientific support from the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources (KAPE), a three-day Forum (24-26 May) which will include the participation of political, local governmental agencies , researchers and scientists associated with the Energy sector from Greece and abroad. In total six conferences will address topics associated with Renewable Energy Sources (RES), solid and liquid waste management, recycling, Environmental protection & restoration, energy conservation, alternative fuels, etc.
ECOTEC ‘08 - Environmental Technologies’ will host manufacturers, representatives and companies that provide services specializing in the following sectors:
Renewable Energy Sources ( Energy from the wind, sun, water and the earth)
Recycling
Ecostructures & Ecoconstruction
Waste Management
Residential and Industrial Wastewater Treatment
Environmental Restoration
Energy Conservation
Alternative Fuels
Both the Exhibition and Forums are expected to attract members, engineers, and technical experts from industry, Local & National Management Councils, large commercial entities, construction companies, hotel units, Managers & Procurement Executives of technical services from government utilities and businesses, investors, researchers, representatives and merchants from the whole of Greece as well as foreign agencies. |
